Tomorrow is the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo, which you know means big shifts in energy (some of which you may have already felt stirring). This Eclipse is part of the longer series of Pisces and Virgo eclipses, which began in 2024. As with all eclipses, this is to help right the scales between dichotomies in our life and culture when they have become out of balance. There are a few different ideas that hang in the balance between Virgo and Pisces: critique vs open mindedness, perfection vs idealism, spirituality vs practicality. This specific eclipse is asking us to examine how well  our spiritual lives balance with our day to day practicalities.

A full Moon Lunar Eclipse

We have spent a lot of time with the 4 previous eclipses in this series focusing on unlearning the perfectionism that comes with Virgo and opening ourselves up to the dreamier world of Pisces. Reflect back on what spiritual growth you’ve had since September of 2024. Maybe you entered this world, maybe you have found a new level of peace or contentment with your own connection to the divine, or maybe you even found yourself expanding your mind and beliefs. Regardless of what came up for you during this time, this upcoming eclipse is here to help ground you and assist with focusing on the practical and your physical self care.

When we get caught up in focusing too much on the spiritual or emotional, it can create feelings of stagnant energy, anxiety, or even frustration in our minds and body. This is because we aren’t taking much, if any, action towards the constant thoughts in our mind. The Full Moon Eclipse in Virgo is perfect for helping you reflect and figure out what physical and mental care, routines, and habits will support you as you continue to move forward. This isn’t to pull you away from the dreams and possibilities of Pisces energy, rather finding the balance between dreams and reality so that you can pursue all that you dream up. During this time and for a few days before and after, you might find yourself having revelations about happenings of your day-to-day life, what structures or plans you need to support your deepest dreams and visions.

This is also a time of heightened emotions. These realizations may feel intense and overwhelming, especially if taking care of yourself is something you are learning how to do. This period can amplify these feelings, but it doesn’t by any stretch mean that they are not rooted in a deep and real place. I would encourage you to remember not to tip back into the energy of judgement or heavy critique for yourself as you reflect. Struggling to take care of yourself is not a moral failing, and it is not something that one day switches on and you are perfect at it forever. This is a skill set that so many people struggle with, because we are not usually taught how to do it when we’re young. Try to instead take the information that comes through your reflection as a lovingly given note from the person you care most about in the world. Some recommendations on how to improve and get out of the energetic block that you have been struggling with, that are here to help you, not shame you.

So how can you best work with this energy? This is a great time to do a check-in or audit of how you are taking care of yourself; this can include things like what you are doing well with, what you find yourself struggling with, and what your overall dreams and desires are. This is not necessarily the time to immediately begin taking action; however it is a space for reflection and understanding what adjustments would be helpful in your life. Understand what you want more deeply and then let yourself slowly begin adding in these mini transformations.
