Step into an ancient tradition and create something truly personal in this hands-on Rune Painting Workshop. In this class, you’ll learn the basics of runes—their history, meanings, and how they’ve been used for intention, protection, and guidance across cultures. Class led by Sigga, owner of Shiled and Spar. You’ll be guided through selecting and painting your own rune set on natural materials such as smooth stones or wood slices, transforming each piece into a meaningful tool you can take home. No prior art experience is needed; all supplies are provided, and the focus is on creativity, symbolism, and mindful making rather than perfection. By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a completed rune set, a foundational understanding of rune meanings, and ideas for how to work with them in everyday life.
